Just before Covid hit

Memories while digging through the phone pictures.
January 2020. My wife had to go to CA for a couple of weeks. I took a short trip to Ferrara in Italy to stretch my bike legs.

The last year of steal frames in their Reporto corso (?) Line. Many miles on it.
This was the 3rd. Bought the first and after two years there was a frame cracked. It's warrantee replacement was stolen two years later from the roof of our car. It's a better bike than I am a rider.

My Bianchi Limited was an Italian bicycle that was made in Japan. It was a great bike. I rode my first double century on it.

I was in norcal finishing up after fall semester and my wife was in Arizona, where we live now. She left in February if I remember correctly so we wouldn't be stuck in two different states when the lock down began, and just made it home before travel became more difficult. Fall 2019 turned out to be the last semester I set foot in a classroom-- my last couple years were taught online due to COVID (and my age).

Before we knew what was happening. My wife came back as they were worrying about Chinese fkights. Could have been a disaster. My daughter worked as a cashier through the whole plague.
Fun times.
