August Contest Theme

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and photographers of all levels of skill and experience; I'm here to announce the theme for the August contest. I volunteered to host the August contest and damn, here it is August!

Macro/Close Up is the theme. Get in close and show us things we'd never usually see without your lens capturing the scene.

Let's take a week to think about it and start the submission process on the 13th of this month. How soon we get to the 30 entries is up to you so the rest of the schedule is not set yet, but we will be declaring a winner by the last weekend of this month.
I'll post the rest of the guidelines when we open submissions next week.

2. Let the juices of creativity flow!

Release the Kraken of imagination! This theme will fit neatly with phone cameras, they work well with close ups and sweeping panoramas. For this topic a phone camera is on par with the top end gazillion $$ camera.

The images are out there for the seeing, at the farmer's market or the florist or the garage. Go get 'em!
