Ok, I'm getting kinda annoyed with Stephen Colbert's wife and sons laughing at his

monologue......lotsa times what Stephen says is NOT THAT FUNNY.

1. I think he's hilarious most every night

Last night was off but I think he is the funniest and cleverest comedian out there. And I love his wife.

I think he's always funny myself.

3. Agreed. The off-camera giggles and snickers are a bit much.

It removes the TV audience from the joke and makes it seem "inside". I think they should sanitize the set and let his material stand or fail on it's own. When the time comes for live audiences again, let them react as they like.

8. Nope, not at all and he is generally funny. But sometimes not.

IMO, I don't think it's appropriate or professional to have unidentified noises or sounds, wherever they come from, regularly contaminate a set. Yeah, the TV audience thinks it's his family giggling but they don't really know. Right now the only audience he has is his TV audience and anything that disrupts that connection between the two is....disruptive.

I hate the laugh when you make an unfunny mistake that ruins the skit stuff!

But humor is personal.

I’m sure his family is very familiar with it and it cracks them up.
