Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage on HBO

Anyone watch this documentary on HBO? Absolutely sickening. What a disgrace that festival was in so many ways.

I can't help but look at it and think how much of a harbinger it was for Trumpism. A bunch of uneducated woman hating malcontents sexually assaulting women, breaking stuff, and lighting fires while listening to rap metal. Is there any doubt that crowd watching Limp Biscuit, Kid Rock, and Metalica would become the MAGA crew?

This festival didn't create a problem, it exposed one, there was a growing group of people who felt the rules no longer applied to them and turned some reasonable gripes they had with society into an excuse for mayhem and lawlessness. And the overwhelming theme of the weekend was an all out assault on the dignity of women and feminism. All set to the background of greed and an absence of caring about the wellbeing of festival goers.

You cannot watch this an not get sick to your stomach.
