Screenwriter, producer & narrator for his TV series The Twilight Zone (1959-'64), Rod Serling was #BornOnThisDay, Dec. 25, 1924. A chronic smoker, Serling reportedly had 3-4 cigarette packs a day. Passed in 1975 (age 50) from a #heartattack. #RIP #GoneTooSoon #QUITsmoking #BOTD

He was so far ahead of everyone else— nothing could touch “The Twilight Zone.”

One of my very favorites: The Monsters are Due on Maple Street

when SyFy channel runs their New Years marathon.

We like the "Monsters" episode, also. My personal fave is "A Stop at Willoughby".

I have a couple of books about him, but I’m really no closer to “knowing” him than before I read them.

Another of my favorites was titled “The Hunt” and it gets me every time.
