The Prisoner

This is my favorite series of all time. Patrick McGoohan was tremendous (and he didn't win an Emmy for it). The locale only, near Wales, only adds to the mystery of the series. Fans still talk about the meaning of the show. Here is the first episode. I also added an interview McGoohan did where he talked about the show, supposedly the only time he did. As Number Six and other Village residents often say, "Be seeing you."

I can say that without a doubt it has colored and informed much of my adult perception and thought processing. And for those who know the series, one of the most remembered and internally referenced shows in the series was "Hammer Into Anvil"

2. My favorite. Stayed glued to TV every time it ran, and had vivid dreams (not nightmares) afterwards

Always reminded me of the saying: "Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not after me".
