9. I was so happy to see such a diverse group of people

there that I did not pay much attention to who won. I watch because I love Broadway and the bits of the shows we get to see. I actually never spend much time caring who won what but I was very pleased to see more diversity than I remember from the past.

This time the only real thing that I was wanting to see was Jayne Houdyshell. I wanted her to win, she is from my city and I know her sister. I knew Patti LuPone would win as well as Company, not crazy about either. The rest of it is just candy to me. Perhaps I should pay better attention. I was pleased to listen to Billy Porter, I LOVE that guy.
