(5,170 posts)Started episode 1 with my wife (an attorney) and it wasn't her thing, so I kind of lost track of it given all the other things on my list. I did like the grittiness of it.

(5,011 posts)and the second season debuted just a few weeks back. There will be eight episodes in this season as well, and the third episode airs tonight.
I enjoyed the first season, but I know many people were turned off by it. I have to believe that most of them were expecting a remake of the 1950s, sanitized Perry Mason. This clearly aint it. That show is on MeTV every morning, and from what I've seen, most episodes seem to pivot on some female character having some meltdown and confessing all on the witness stand or wherever. 'You know how crazy and hysterical the gals can be,' it seems to say, repeatedly.
