many times. It was my favorite series!!

I just keep returning to it every few years, but I've watched them so many times now I don't see anything that I don't remember.

Makes me very sad.

So many red herrings. But we watch it as part of our Saturday TV viewing. Once followed by Inspector Morse, and presently by Poirot.

and I prefer the original detectives and story lines. My husband often falls asleep when we watch the latest ones.

But it does make you wonder how safe those quaint little English villages are; Midsomer seems to have a murder rate worse than Fallujah's, and the murders, usually committed with weapons nobody would even imagine, are almost always the result of some Byzantine machinations involving secret relationships, incest, nice ladies who poison crumpets, and mad vicars.
