(4,738 posts)Funny thing. The government doesn't seem to be doing as well. I wonder why? I've heard so many stories recently about people being denied treatment or having to go through ridiculous gyrations in order to get treatment. I had a hard time last year not snarling at the medicare advantage salesperson CVS had at the front of the store all last year.

(1,532 posts)answer, the main thing to keep in mind is if you opt for a Medicare Advantage plan you will have network restrictions and be subject to prior authorizations that have to be approved by the insurance company. Just a thought for consideration.

(303 posts)Advantage plans are just another plot to bankrupt Medicare and force Americans into total for profit health care when they retire. They over charge medicare for everything, and make huge profits. Just another Bush-GOP plan to prove that our Social Programs don't work.
