(18,509 posts)He asks questions nobody else asks, and often gets guests to open up and talk about interesting, sometimes intimate topics other than what they are there to promote.

(32,070 posts)I try to watch with open eyes......and its just the same for me, he ALWAYS tries to out do his guest. Sorry, it is just my opinion, I loved him on the Colbert Report, but then?? He didnt have guests, and it really was ALL ABOUT STEPHEN COLBERT. Now on the late show, its STILL about Stephen, BUT. he has guests now.

(32,070 posts)but his interviews are great......HE LETS THE GUEST TALK. HE LETS THEM BE THE SHOW, and just gives the guest the opportunity to show the fans/audience who they are. Love Jimmys technique of interviewing.

(10,002 posts)I'd place Seth Meyers at the top, then Kimmel, Colbert and Fallon, though all of them are very talented.
