Now get a food box each week

Each Wednesday is food bank day at St. Stephen's in Phoenix. Location: 2310 N. 56th Street by the Papago Buttes. Hours are 9am to noon. The only requirement is photo identification.

St. Mary's has expanded their program so that clients may now receive a food box each week. Along with the food box the clients also received meat, dairy and produce.

about St. Stephen's we were averaging about 24 to 30 families a week. During COVID numbers went up slightly. Now we serve between 40 to 50 families each week.

if there is a silver lining it is this - during COVID St. Mary's went from one food box each month to two boxes. Last month their policy changed to a food box each week. During COVID their policy changed so that families could receive meat, dairy and produce each week. I am thankful for the local grocery stories that donate food to St. Mary. I see the trucks at the back of the grocery stores each week.
