Maricopa County ballots will be 2 pages long for the 1st time since 2006

Maricopa County election officials say general election ballots will be two pages long for the first time since 2006.

The county anticipated long ballots, but didn’t finish the “ballot building” process until recently. The pages are front and back and the average number of contests on each ballot will be 79, though the exact number varies within the county depending on where voters reside.

Jennifer Liewer is a spokesperson for the Maricopa County elections department.

“Most important thing for voters is to plan ahead, make sure they’re registered by October 7th, and potentially consider voting early if they haven’t in the past,” Liewer said.
