Gwen Walz Visited Flagstaff On A Three-City Campaign Tour Of Arizona Monday
The wife of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was in Flagstaff to talk to a group of Coconino Count Democrats. Gwen Walz told the packed room at the Mayan Winds Coffee Emporium about the campaign and how her and her husband are hitting every city and town as they campaign for the Democratic ticket. Also speaking at the event was Flagstaff Mayor Becky Daggett, Coconino County Supervisor Patrice Hortsman, Coconino County Treasurer Sarah Benetar and DNC Native Caucus Chair Clara Pratte. Walz talked about her teaching background and being married to not only and governor but a former football coach. Walz backed up some of Vice President Kamala Harris’ remarks from the DNC earlier this month in the stop. She started the day in Phoenix and is ending it in Kingman before heading to another state to campaign.
