When is the last day to vote in Arizona and have your ballot count? What to know

Political signs are up, canvassers are hitting the streets and early ballots are going out to voters statewide. It's time to vote in Arizona.

But filling out this massive ballot is only part of the voting process. Once you're done filling in bubbles, you'll want to make sure it gets returned to election officials in time to count.

All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be tallied. If you're mailing back your ballot, you should put it in the mail no later than five to seven days before Election Day to ensure it is delivered on time.

The final date recommended to mail back your ballot for the Nov. 5 election is Oct. 29. If you're a rural voter, consider allowing extra time.
