Need Advice from an Arkansan!

To make a long story short, my brother and I have inherited our parents' home in Hot Springs. He lives in Texas. I live in California. It's an older home in need of repairs. Neither of us are within easy driving distance nor are we healthy or wealthy enough to take care of what it needs.

What we are hoping to find is a reputable ”buy as is” company that buys houses in the Hot Springs area. We've been approached by some that seemed shady, but it's hard to tell. Does anyone here know of something on the up and up?

We are open to ideas. We just need to sell it, but don’t think it is in good enough shape for the usual real estate market and can't afford the repairs.

Thanks in advance Arkansas DUers!
