Teen arrested in connection with threat against Greenbrier Junior High School

GREENBRIER, Ark. – Greenbrier police said they have arrested a 13-year-old who is accused of making a threat against Greenbrier Junior High School.
According to the Greenbrier Police Department, the teen is an eighth grader at the middle school. Police officials said that students at the school heard the teen say he was going to shoot up the school.
Police said that the student is facing a terroristic threatening charge in connection with the alleged threat.
Officials with Greenbrier Public Schools said the threat was made on Friday, Sept. 13. The school district released the following statement:
