So the great thing is there a ton of tests being done so they found a lot of positives to remind those people they need to quarantine.
Most states don't have 100,000 tests per day.
Also, 6% is a good positivity rate compared to most states.
Best wishes for every to stay healthy!

(52,211 posts)on Worldometers this morning (I check the site throughout the day, every day) I said Holy Shit! I looked at the state's bar graph and said, "They are going to have to adjust that graph" since the previous highs were minuscule in comparison. Check it out...

(15,029 posts)I suspect it's mostly from kids and their schools, but I'm not sure that contact tracing even works here anymore to really know the main explanation.
My sister-in-law caught it from her young granddaughter who showed no symptoms. She's still in an ICU.
There's good mask compliance in my area per a recent newspaper article (from multiple reporters observing various stores), but my county is among the worst for new infections in Ohio.
Edit: Ironically, Chris Cuomo is interviewing a health official on CNN right now about the dangers of keeping the schools open.

(52,211 posts)and have said since March that I wouldn't step foot in a classroom today due to Covid. I was constantly sick despite flu shots and good habits. Schools are germ factories. No kids should be around anyone at risk. I hope people understand this during the holidays. I have my own real horror stories about the actual condition of ventilation systems in schools.
