I'm going to go out and take a walk in it right now.

How I long to go hiking in the Santa Cruz mountains and inhale the damp foliage, the wet ground, and hear the song of the full creeks as they course their way down to the Pacific.

I’ve always been a rain lover—even when we’re not having a drought. Of course, when it gets to the point where it’s actually flooding, that’s when I want it to stop.

We've had a nice amount of rain in the last few days, off and on. It's supposed to continue through the weekend and maybe beyond. We may even get a little snow on the weekend. It is nice not to have to worry about fire for awhile. Only bad thing is I have to drive to Healdsburg in the morning and it will probably be raining. 160 mile round trip for a doctor's visit for my wife. I just hope the rain isn't too heavy. The up side is we have a nice new car with good tires and wipers. I just hate getting up early in the morning.
