Flying Tesla Lands Precariously on Ambulance in San Diego, 3 Rescued

https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/balancing-act-tesla-lands-precariously-on-ambulance-in-san-diego-3-rescued/2908189/

San Diego Fire-Rescue crews had to pull three people from a Tesla that went off an embankment Wednesday and was saved from plummeting further by a city ambulance.

Photos from the scene on the 4800 block of Greencraig Lane in Kearny Mesa show the white vehicle balancing between a Falck ambulance and the embankment; its front bumper's contact with the ambulance was the only thing holding it up in the air.

Rescue crews pulled three passengers out. Two people were taken to an area hospital with injuries while the third passenger declined to be transported for medical care. The severity of injuries caused by the incident was not known.

Crews then worked to stabilize the vehicle. It was not immediately clear how they planned to get the vehicle down from the embankment.

I didn’t even know they made flying ones.

But what a great thing to crash into.

they used to only auto-crash, but now for only an extra $8999 you can get the auto-crash-land feature.

I’ve read that soon (only available on their Challenger edition sedans) you will be able to purchase the super advanced auto-explode feature!
