I mean, show it to her. I've been onboard before, back when I was a kid.

Also spent the night on school field trips at Fort Point, and on The Thayer circa 1977.

I shouldn't have been surprised at the cramped quarters but I was definitely hit with some claustrophobia. Worth a visit.

I toured the Drum and the USS Alabama battleship. One HUGE ship and one small boat. Very tight on a WW2 sub. I think in Chicago there is a WW2 German U Boat on display also..
Tools of war for sure.. US sub casualties were high. 1 in 5 of the crews died..

German losses were worse.. 3 out of 4 were lost. Same stats for the Japanese.
