Before I go and try and figure out who and what money is going into these props .... enlightening me ??? Seems more is being spent on advertising a yes for 27, and I have no idea on 26. It's a gambling issue and deals with gaming issues on Tribal lands, gambling casinos and online betting, what tax money goes where etc ... I am clueless ... HELP !!! Got a couple months to get this one right, or 'left' so to speak. All input really appreciated. GO BLUE 2022 and again thank's for any input!

Simply put, Proposition 27 would legalize online sports betting in the state. Proposition 26 would allow sports betting, but only in-person at tribal casinos and racetracks, expanding the types of betting at those establishments.

Nobody bothers to explain it. If the bettors pay, then the odds are much worse than they already are.
It's not like the Indian Casinos are going to pay the same as Nevada yet give millions to the homeless.

10. The money for 27 is coming from Draft Kings and FanDuel, for 26 it's the Tribal casinos

Since 2018, about 30 states have legalized sports betting, including 21 that allow online betting.

If you are against legalized sports betting you are supporting the black market gambling industry run by the mob and cartels.

Legalize it, regulate it, and tax it.

Just like weed.
It's here and not going away.

You can let it be legal like all the other reasonable states that have done so follow a SCOTUS ruling or let the mobsters make all that money tax free

Gambling has completely changed sports. They are entirely about wagering. The amount wagered is staggering, and gambling ruins lives. IMO.

I would vote to ban all sports gambling.

The (true) story goes that some physicists had a conference in Las Vegas, which welcomed them.

Until.

Until Las Vegas saw that they were too smart to gamble because the house always takes 10% or so off the top, making it a losing proposition on average. They were "banned" from having further conventions in the city.

Neutral on 26, no on 27.

Response on Prop 27: Legalizes online sports betting. Out-of-state corporations would get 90% of the profits leaving little to fight homelessness, and directly attacks the sovereignty of CA Native American tribes.

Yes on everything else (Props 1, 28, 29, 30, 31).
