Truth is, we are 40 minutes away from snow, if we want to go that way.
10 minutes to the beach today in the low 80's.

Eventually, when I lived in California, the weather got boring, except during floods and ash falls from fires.

A blizzard is a chance to meet your neighbors if you all have to shovel sidewalks.
