Dear Senator Feinstein,
I write today to encourage you to resign. I am very sorry youve been ill, and I understand youve been working from home. I appreciate your diligence through such adversity.
Unfortunately, our party is at a disadvantage in the Senate due to your extended absence.
We need someone in the Senate who can cast votes. We need an additional voice on the Judiciary Committee to confirm President Bidens nominees. Dont let the Republicans do to these nominees what was done to AG Merrick Garland.
Your resignation would show your constituents that you value us and the US as a whole by giving a new generation a head start in representing the Golden State.
With thanks and utmost respect for your service,

(57,492 posts)I'm not optimistic, though. I've no doubt my opinion will be merely tallied, not shared with the Senator herself. Such is the way things are on the Hill.
