How hot was it today where you live? -- UPDATE

I live in SF Bay Area (North Bay), and it reached 84 degrees. Too hot for me!!

I'm updating this to Saturday-- right now it's a cool 64 degrees, but with an inevitable warming trend this next week. Oh well...

1. Northeast Kansas

Cloudy all day, temps low 70s with a cool breeze making it almost light jacket weather. I’m like the temperature today, I’m in my low 70s.

My thermostat said 95 earlier. In shade, outside on a window sill. 87 right now and it’s 86 inside.

It only got up to 69 and not much sun…..it’s our May gray time and will be followed by June gloom.

Lots of days in the 80s during summer, even low 90s where I'm at. Go inland 4 or five miles and it can get to high 90s and 100s in the mountain/desert areas.

14. I was in Navy Basic Training in San Diego October-December 1972

Great weather except for a few days in November. We had two shipmates end up in the hospital for cold like symptoms. Nasty, cold, rainy spell. I’ve always enjoyed San Diego. Wish NTC/RTC was still there.

Just chucking in a little weather nostalgia.

23. Well, while the NTC was closed

the MCRD (Marine Corp Recruit Depot) is still there. Airport is also expanding and replacing the old terminal 1. In 72 you would have seen the old PSA headquarters, which later became a commuter terminal, but now had to make way for the new construction.

They’d fly low over the grinder seemingly every five minutes. A slight exaggeration. I enjoyed my time there. Fond memories of long ago.

5. Hendersonville NC was a delightful 72 with a light breeze -

we are having some absolutely perfect days. But a week of daily rain is coming.

16. We've had no heat or humidity yet - I think next week will be in the low 80s.

The year we moved out of Raleigh - 2019 - we had over 70 days of 90 and above.

In our new home, here, we have a few days of 90 and above each year. It is a massive improvement to our lives!

I live in a suburb of Phoenix Arizona,,,, tis Summer here. At least it was 72 ish this morning.

The air quality is horrible. Dust/smoke in the morning and ground level ozone in the afternoon.

32. Life in Florida would be unbearable without A/C..That's one of the problems after a hurricane takes out the power

NO A/C!!!. Even if your home does not get hit or damaged the lack of power really s**ks.
