June 22, 2024 (Saturday) – Juneteenth Celebration at the Great Park
Join celebrants at the third annual Irvine Juneteenth Freedom Celebration presented by BIPOC Orange County in partnership with the City of Irvine. This free event is a celebration of freedom, hope, and joy that honors the history and contributions of Black Americans to the cultural fabric of our nation. Join The LGBTQ Center OC for a film screening of “Lives Beyond Motion” at the Frida Cinema, followed by a Q&A with filmmakers and cast members. The documentary explores the lives of an intergenerational and racially diverse group of contemporary male dancers.
