Pasadena Unified Bond and Parcel Tax Measures on the November 5, 2024 Ballot

Measure R:
The facilities measure requires the approval of 55% of district voters and would raise $900 million from property owners, with the amount paid by each owner based on the assessed value of the owner’s properties. The facilities bond proceeds can only be used on buildings and facilities projects.

Measure EE:
The parcel tax requires the approval of two-thirds of district voters and would raise $5 million per year for eight years with property owners paying $90 a year for each owned parcel of land. The Measure EE funds can be used for any general fund purpose, employee salaries, benefits, and services.
