Karl Rove vs Mark Udall

Karl Rove’s “American Crossroads” has a new anti-Udall ad airing in Colorado. In an effort to cast Cory Gardner as a lifelong champion of women the ad is clearly aimed at women. It features a group of women chatting in a kitchen (because where else would women ever have conversation); they’re lobbing simplistic and already debunked antiUdallisms back and forth, and the scripted sighs are delivered with characteristic cluelessness. To Rove’s credit the women are not presented as barefoot and pregnant.

Ye gods.

Cory G. is an corporatist, anti-choice punk who is gonna lose by a surprisingly large (at least for the GOP) margin, no matter what the polls might say a the moment. I don't know a single woman of any age who plans to vote for him, no matter what kind of agitprop KKKarl manages to put on TV.

Then there's the ad with old Cory and that weird haircut telling the room full of actresses that Udall supports government interference in our health care. I thought that was pretty rich considering Gardiner's ongoing efforts to make women's choices for us.
