had to put the window fan in the other night

and the windows have been open for a bit. we got a bit of rain tonight, so things are cooled off a bit, but it's still warm inside. hope this isn't an indication of what's coming this summer.

1. A window fan sounds great!

My childhood home had an attic fan, which I loved with the open windows, but a window fan sounds even more awesome.

Funny, here in the South where we're usually the first to get hot weather, we haven't had it at all yet. The weather is tapering down from a recent cold front. It's weird to see a number of posts about how hot it's been in their areas.

2. It's cold where I live. We had a couple of sunny days, but now it's back again.

3. It's 70 degrees outside right now.

I'm sitting on my back porch with the ceiling fan on & I'm wearing a jean jacket. Very peaceful & nice.

4. 43 but feels cooler with the wind going like it is. I'd rather be cool than hot, though.

5. my dad put in an attic fan when we were little

it worked pretty well, but i was happy when he upgraded to a swamp cooler....after i moved out, of course

this has been such an unusual spring so far, broken 80 far too many times for how early in the year it is.

6. and now the windows are closed and the heat back on
