Colorado is a joke!

Development without infrastructure (roads and schools) and the Tabor amendment make Colorado an unliveable joke. You thought I was going to talk about dope like the entire news media, but dope plays a role in this fiasco.

The roads are in terrible shape to the point that they are deadly but the state doesn't have any money to fix them. Yet the state is planning on refunding tax dollars due to the requirements of Douglas Bruce's Tabor amendment. Yeah, you can spend your money better than the government such as on $288-an-ounce dope. Or even a pet rock or an eight-track tape player. But the libertarian lie RUiNS this state while common sense gets squeezed out.

Who can afford dope anyway? The rich! They have so much money that they can blow it on anything. Meanwhile the needs of the state go unfulfilled. They're building new housing developements on every corner but no work is being done to help the people who drive or bicycle on the roads.

Colorado is a joke, stay away! You've been warned. Oh, and take Douglas Bruce, the author of the Tabor amendment with you. That fool is now wanted in Ohio for a fail-to-appear court case involving his neglect of property he owns there. Truly, as long as the Bruce (Tabor) amendment remains, this state is a bFD joke!

It's called the "Kicker." The budget excess must be returned to the tax payer. One Repug told me that people can better decide how their money is spent. One of my friends "kicker" was $23.45. Someone needs to tell repugs that it is aggregates of $23.45 checks that allow the government to do things...like fix roads. And the kicker is the that a lot of "Kicker" checks go to out of state corporations.

2. I remember when TABOR was voted in..

Just a couple of years after I moved here. I wondered if I wanted to live in a state that was totally sucked in by the likes of Douglas Bruce but decided, on the whole, Colorado was a great place. It is, but not without issues, that's for sure.
