Colorado
Related: About this forumThe vote for fast track was just in,and
Bennet voted for it. I just called his office to tell
the lady there that as a lifelong Dem I will not
vote for him, and will go around the neighborhood
to tell them to do the same.
Glad, that I can still vote for DeGette.

(3,431 posts)and I wish you a lot of success.
Unfortunately nobody is offering to compete with
Bennet for a primary.

(19,537 posts)Perhaps this time around Colorado might have a change of heart and vote for him in the primary after this crappy turncoat voat of Bennet's. Kind of like it looks like Feingold might be retaking his seat in the senate to the Republican he lost it to 6 years ago too.

(3,431 posts)Remember Obama interfered in that election, so
he and the DNC would do it again.
The party hacks decided against him and are
happy to keep and support Bennet.
cascadiance
(19,537 posts)... as should many other primary challengers to those that corruptly passed this bill, and help build a movement.
I think he should note that the DNC that helped Bennet's campaign has at its head DWS who was probably as responsible as anyone for the losing strategy for Dems in the 2014 election as well as herself voting for TPA in the House too. Might put Bennet in to a corner that a lot of the Colorado electorate that are probably as frustrated as we are won't like.
I think it wouldn't hurt to call him up and encourage him to give it a shot. We are in different times. Feingold will win his seat back in Wisconsin that he lost earlier. I think that someone like Romanoff might win a primary that he lost earlier too. Voters want newer faces that to replace those that have lost their trust recently. Someone should tell Romanoff that it would be better that a Democrat like him would win than a Republican taking Bennet's seat.
It wouldn't hurt to call him up and ask him if he might consider it, and if he'd consider strongly talking against some of this free trade crap that is going on that will get him a lot of support I think.
And by the way, DeFazio hasn't offered yet to compete with Wyden yet either. Just many of us feel like he's the right person to do so and that now is the time for him to start such a campaign and are going to strongly encourage him by calling him and offering him campaign donations to do so.

It is just theatre. They are bought and paid for and we are screwed.
