Bill Owens didn't tell Charles Heston"s NRA to stay home following Columbine.

Former CO governor, Bill Owens, told the President of the United States to stay home rather than come to CO and support those who are suffering from the unprecedented fire disaster.

He has some nerve saying this given that after Charles Heston and his NRA goons waved their guns in the faces of the Columbine shooting victims days after the rampage. Owens was silent then, but not now.

As governor, Owens left the state much worse off compared to how he found it. After seeing the fires in 2002, why didn't he do something about greater fire mitigation? He surely went to Colorado Springs enough times to raise campaign money that he saw how vulnerable this area is to wildfires. This is typical of Owens, always a big mouth especially in a chicken little way.
