University of Northern Colorado sets fundraising goal at $45 million
The University of Northern Colorado recently announced its first comprehensive fundraising initiative, with the goal of reaching $45 million by December 2018.
The Campaign for UNC leadership phase began in July 2015, and has raised $24 million since. The public phase was launched Saturday during the Honored Alumni Ceremony, according to a UNC news release issued Monday.
"The Campaign for UNC is our public charge to boldly support our university's uniqueness and advance it's longstanding mission to provide accessible, affordable, transformative education at the highest level," UNC President Kay Norton said in the release.
Through a review process involving college deans and other UNC leadership, officials have decided to focus on scholarships, faculty development, research, program support and the UNC Campus Commons building, according to the release.
