Rep. Ken Buck faces constituents who place health care first

Rep. Ken Buck met Saturday morning with a group of about 30 people in a town hall-style meeting inside the Weld County Southwest Services Complex in Longmont that was coordinated with an Indivisible Longmont group.

The meeting was organized with a discussion agenda that was to include health care, the environment, women's issues, and the possible collusion between President Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia.

The 90-minute meeting, however, ended up being dedicated almost entirely to questions about Buck's positions on health care.

The meeting came off the heels of the House Republicans pulling a vote on a replacement for the Affordable Care Act on Friday because it likely wouldn't have passed. Buck, who represents Colorado's 4th Congressional District did not say what his vote would have been — but he said he wouldn't vote for a bill that wasn't an improvement upon the ACA.

is that he's no longer our DA. That's one helluva trade-off.

During his campaign he said to "Vote for me because I don't wear high heels." The one campaign promise he kept: he swore to bring more bullshit to Washington.
