Shall we plan a DU Eclipse gathering?

Here in Boulder County, I'm in the 90% band, but the totality band is within day-trip distance for most of the Front Range and a lot of the Western Slope if we're willing to venture into Wyoming. I'm sort of planning to day-trip myself somewhere north for the day. I know I'm pretty much on my own for that event, since that's right in the middle of Spouse's major release cycle at work. (He's at a start-up, and they were all requested to not take any time off after the 4th and before Labor Day.)

I've got three other seats if anyone's interested.

If you expect to hit the road on the morning of the eclipse, you will probably be stuck in traffic outside the zone of totality. Also, get your eclipse glasses NOW. We're only two months from the eclipse, and I'm expecting they'll be backordered at some point.

I booked a hotel in Kearney, Nebraska, back in January. I'll be watching with some friends of mine. Can hardly wait.
