Red Colorado?

Was at a waiting room and found the New Yorker from last week, July 27, not with the Mooch rant..

There was a long story about Colorado how, even though Hillary carried it, it was mostly thanks to the cities of Denver and Boulder. That the rural area, in the west, Grand Junction, Mesa county, are as supporting of Trump as they were last year.

That after the infamous tape of the grouper, they actually had a rally of women for Trump.

That they had their own inauguration party, called Deplora-Ball.

Was very depressing.

They are counting on a Republican governor and then Republican senator and going for Trump in 202.

Cannot find it online, one has to be a subscriber, I think, but was quite depressing.

Hope they will be proven wrong.

I live in an oasis of blue here in Boulder County and even then I see Trumpers every damn day. The really scary thing that I've noticed is the Trumpers are getting bolder and bolder. The other day a pick up trump ran me right off the road onto the shoulder. I am assuming it was my left bumper stickers. I grabbed my phone and took a photo of his license plate but it was only a blur. Of course, I can't be certain it was a trumper but I'm willing to bet...

"Of course, I can't be certain it was a trumper but I'm willing to bet..."

Two guys tried to kidnap a teenaged girl in San Diego last week. Does that automatically indicate that they are Trump supporters?

Or is it the pickup truck? Anyone driving a pickup truck must be a Trump supporter.

No, I most emphatically do not support Trump, and certainly did not vote for him. I do support sanity.

and while we never turned it blue, made enough inroads to have a positive impact on state races. Do what you can do.

I hope they wake up before it's too late. But I'm not counting on it.

but in the past have a good friend living in Grand Junction and I got to know some great people at the progressive Catholic church she attended. There were some very active Hispanic and other activitists. Just go to The New Yorker Colorado online and the article comes up. It is very thought provoking and well written as many of their research articles are.
