Ken Buck is a brick in Kavanaugh's wall.

Given all the nastiness surrounding the Kavanaugh nomination, let's take a moment to remember Ken Buck's contribution to the prevailing attitude on the GOP side of the senate Judiciary Committee.

Back when Buck was Weld County DA, he refused to prosecute an admitted rapist, telling the victim that she was merely suffering a case of "buyer's remorse". At present, we don't know whether or not Buck, currently in the CD4 seat, has suggested that particular defense to Kavanaugh.

Karen McCormick, the Democrat running to unseat Buck, is reporting that independent voters in the district are leaning blue, along with more than a few republicans. They are paying attention and willing to listen. If you live in CD4, please acquaint your republican and independent neighbors with Buck's own history of defending the perpetrator.

And it wouldn't hurt to volunteer for Karen's campaign, knock some doors, make some calls, you know the drill.
