(60,011 posts)The inflation ( CPI) index is rigged
The Libor rate rigging has been uncovered
The ratings agencies have been discovered to be rigged ( Moody', Standard and Poor's, etc)
No way I believe in the accuracy of polls.

(60,011 posts)assuming they get away with rigging the election
and since Repubs have control over the voting machines
AND the media
and AND are rigging voter registration
the odds are good that they can get away with it, as they did in 2000
and in 2004.
dunno how they screwed up and 'lost" in 2008. Maybe they got too confident.

(16,064 posts)Make no mistake, Romney can win this thing. When he got the nomination I knew that this was going to be a very tough election. Like ti or not, to those who will decide this thing, the so called undecideds, Romney looks and sounds very presidential.
To these voters, truth, facts and policies are all but irrelevant.

(3,557 posts)They're well-funded, highly unethical, and tell so many lies that no one can keep up with setting the record straight. The low-information voter(which makes up the majority of the electorate) doesn't realize he or she is being lied to and led off a cliff by the Romnesia/Lyan crowd.
Woe is us if that POS wins this.

(3,650 posts)When polling is done at this late date and so many have already voted, are those who voted already a part of the poll?

(3,557 posts)They're considered "likely voters."

(2,012 posts)We in CO wonder about MA too and the Warren race. It's very tough here, almost evenly divided and lots of right-wingers, religious fundamentalists, and retired military. But also lots of great liberals who work hard to swing CO for Obama, not as easy as it was in 2008. The Denver Post is owned by a conservative but is endorsing Obama. Our gov is a Democrat who walks a tightrope and generally sides with big oil and mining interests. Just like most of the nation many voters have been swayed by all the Koch money going to the crazy tea-party, FOX, and Rush propaganda which bombards us daily. Wish us luck and strength enough to get out the 9 electoral votes Obama needs to win!
