Occupy Delaware Protesters step in to demand halt to foreclosures -will petition Atty Gen Beau Biden

About 30 protesters stood as the first sale was about to start, and Bernard August of Occupy Delaware read a prepared statement with the rest of the protesters repeating it in unison -- in the "mic check" style often used by other Occupy protest groups.

Navarro said he does not have much control over the sales, or the ability to stop them, because they are court mandates.

An Occupy Delaware activist is also collecting signatures on a petition to present to Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, calling for a halt to foreclosures. It has not yet been presented to Biden.
