Carney wants your ideas on the state budget

Gov. John Carney is holding a series of community meetings to hear ideas Delaware citizens may have about how to address the state budget.

In Dover, the next meeting will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Dover City Hall council chambers.

The session is sponsored by the Downtown Dover Partnership. Sen. Brian Bushweller, D-Dover, is scheduled to take part as well.

Carney's office has scheduled six meetings throughout the state, including a televised town hall event. The first took place Jan. 30 in Wilmington.
