Update: "The Metropolitan Police Department has closed a number of freeway exits, to keep traffic moving safely through the area. These rolling road closures are occurring in real-time as they are needed, and will be lifted as soon as they are no longer necessary."

4. 4 big rig mothertruckers just slow rolled up Mass Ave from the Capitol area

this was around 6 pm today. DC's finest were blocking roads along the way and escorting in front and behind the small convoy.

If their goal was to enjoy DC traffic and waste a lot of expensive diesel, they're doing a fantastic job.
