Take mosquito commissioner- in a perfect system those in the know would vote a responsible coworker over the salesman peddling poison. But we guess and remove reason from the system. Retention of judges is even worse - too bad it's not up to educated voters.

In my neck of the woods they were all appointed by either Desantis or Scott. So i voted against retention. Unfortunately I believe if not retained the governor appoints new judges. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen as far as elections go.
