31. There's two main reasons not to debate.

Just like there are two main reasons to want to debate.

For the reasons not to debate:
1) You think it would hurt more than help.
2) You know you’re going to win the election so why bother.

For the reasons to debate:
1) You’re wanting to discuss the issues and contrast the solutions for the public.
2) You’re trying anything because you know you’re probably gonna lose.

(No, these are not the only options)

Discussing the issues you can do on the campaign trail. So while a debate is nice, it doesn’t limit you from proclaiming your message to the public.

DeSantis wins and the reason he didn’t debate will be answered. Crist wins and not debating didn’t matter.
