Maybe the Keys are still a viable place to visit, but the rest of the state is dead to me.

As a Florida backyard sea wall.

At some point. No matter what. We'll win.

Partisan gerrymandering is illegal in Florida. It is a direct violation of the state constitution. I know that there were several groups that sued over the congressional maps, but not over the state legislative maps.

The congressional maps were struck down by a trial court and reinstated by the appellate court. Those might not last to the next election cycle. As far as the state legislative maps, I haven't seen any action on those.

The Florida government's new motto will be, "What can we take from you today?" Things are getting so bad here that the Native American woman shown on the State seal is moving to Georgia.

Finally the homeowners insurance problem will be taken care of, saltwater intrusion into the aquafier will be mitigated, housing will become more affordable, the roads will be repaired, and over development of the green areas will be halted.

Of course it will take 14 special sessions of the legislature but wth, we got us a budget surplus.
