NEW: Plaintiffs in the Florida congressional redistricting lawsuit have filed their appeal to the Florida Supreme Court. At issue is the GOP's destruction of a Black opportunity district in violation of the state constitution.

UPDATE: Voting rights groups appeal this decision to the Florida Supreme Court. The state's highest court has discretionary review and will decide whether to take up the case or not.
