If a couple gets married in a Blue State (e.g., NJ, NY) and it's a LGB variety,

and the couple moves to Florida, will this red state recognize the legal rights of marriage under the circumstances?

Or is Florida working on invalidating out-of-state marriages if they aren't "traditional"?

Florida is cooking up in that ass-backward state. The governor is a Nazi and the legislature generally does whatever he wants. I hope you're not planning on moving into this creepy state that is falling apart in so many ways.

Can refuse to recognize a legal marriage in another state. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obergefell_v._Hodges

And same-sex marriage has been legal in Florida for 10 years or so.

right now they have little latitude to spike a gay marriage, in or out of the state. I don't think rogue clerks and Dixiecrat nullification schemes have much support for now.

My gay kid chose to get married in another state after his reception to avoid the state having future power to scrutinize the license, but for now the law is clear.

He and his husband saw the writing on the wall last year and have immigrated to Portugal. They felt that they couldn't count indefinitely on Blue States.
