(24,164 posts)1. So FL has way too much rain and there's a near drought in NE FL.
They keep predicting rain, but the rain clouds blow on by and don't drop their water on us. Or if we get any water, it's just a sprinkle which doesn't cool anything and just skyrockets the already oppressive humidity. We need rain every week here, it cools things down so much. I don't think we've had any substantial rain for over 2 weeks and everything is burning up.

(7,222 posts)2. East central FL has been dry for a couple months...
...until this week. Areas east of Orlando got 4-6 inches over the past few days.

(24,164 posts)3. NE FL was forecast to get lots of rain, even thunderstorms this week.
So far, a few sprinkles on the day it was supposed to pour. It's so freaking hot and dry!! Sigh.

(7,222 posts)4. I can relate. One day we had 93% chance of rain...
...& I was outside enjoying the sunshine, no rain in sight.
