5 candidates vie for Orange school board amid talk about reading, teacher pay and politics
Candidates campaigning for the Orange County School Board talk mostly about traditional school issues, like improving reading skills and teacher pay, but Florida politics still loom over these non-partisan races.
Five candidates are running in August for two open seats on the board, which sets policies for Orange County Public Schools, the fourth-largest school district in Florida.
