Related: About this forumAnyone live near Oxford?
My daughter was accepted to Oxford College but nobody I know has ever been near there. She has to make up her mind soon so any info would be helpful.
TIA

(82,333 posts)2. Thanks but I'm asking about Oxford, Georgia.
(Although the town was named after Oxford, England.)
I've spent my whole life in NYC and PA so I don't know enough about the area to even give her a hint.

TV show for an idea of area where campus is located -- Covington, Ga. 35 miles from Atlanta. Really depends on what she's looking for. Not a whole lot there, but it's relatively close to Atlanta. I wouldn't consider it Atlanta, but it's not Timbuktu either. Hope she has a chance to check out the area. Good luck.

I was hoping more for Mayberry.
