Poll: Dem Ossoff leads by 7 in Georgia House race

Democrat Jon Ossoff is leading Republican Karen Handel by 7 points in Georgia’s House special election, according to a new poll, 51 percent to 44 percent.

Five percent in the the Atlanta Journal-Constitution survey released Friday remain undecided in the nationally watched race to replace former Rep. Tom Price (R), who left to become President Trump’s Health and Human Services secretary.

It's the first poll released since the two debated earlier this week.

Ossoff has lifted Democrats’ hopes of picking off the longtime GOP-held seat, one Republicans have held since 1979.

In a survey released just over a week ago, Ossoff led Handel by a single point.

1. This means Republican voter suppression is gonna kick into high gear! They'll do everything they can

to retain the seat.

Millions are going to pour in to trash him and praise Handel.

I hope Georgians are smart enough to vote for the better Representative despite the angry, lying ads that'll undoubtedly sprout from questionable PACs.

2. I hope the dems have a massive GOTV push for the election

If Ossoff pulls off a victory in Georgia, republicans will be out of their minds with fear of 2018!

3. early voting has been happening for weeks now

and there is a massive GOTV campaign. The debate opened a lot of eyes. All Handel could say was that she didn't support a livable wage and Nancy Pelosi over and over.

4. I couldn't believe that republican let the cat out of the bag

and admitted she is against a livable wage!

Why the hell would any working class person vote for a freaking republican? They HATE us!
